Describe an activity to show that - (i) The pressure exerted by a liquid at the bottom of a container depends on the height of its liquid column. (ii) Liquids exert pressure on the walls of the container. (iii) Liquid exerts equal pressure at the same depth.

Dear student,

Please ask different questions in different threads.

(i) Take a large vessel and create three holes at different heights of equal diameter and close it with a cork.
Fill the vessel with the water and open the cok of all the holes quickly.
You will notice that the water comes out from the holes such that the distance travelled is shortest by the water from the hole at the highest point and is longest from the water coming out from the lowest point.
