Describe any four causes for the fall of Jacobin government in France.

 Causes of fall of Jacobin Govt.---

  • Robespierre followed a policy ofsecre control and punishment.
  • All those whom he saw as being the enimies of the republic such as the ex nobles and clergy etc.. were arrested and imprisoned and them tried by a revolutionary tribunal.
  • If the court found them 'guilty' they were guillotined.
  • meat and bread were rationed.
  • peasents were forced to transport their grain to the cities and sell it at pricesfixed by the government,
