Describe the feelings of Mrs.s's daughter after she was invited inside " the address"




The narrator went to Mrs. Dorling’s house. The daughter of the Mrs. Dorling took her inside their house. When the narrator went there she found many identifiable things like the tablecloth; antique plates; Hanukah stand, the things. They were once theirs. The narrator’s mother had given many of their belongings to Mrs. Dorling to safeguard them from the war. However, Mrs. Dorling never had the intention to return them.  The narrator found that the things were kept in a chaotic manner and they were full of dust. The belongings were misused. The belongings reminded the narrator of her dead mother. She found herself in a strange ambience. She was somewhat stupefied because of the situation of the house. It increased the pain of separation from her mother. She wanted to move out of the house and forget the address forever.
