Describe the narrator's feelings on winning the Car. Please refer to the chapter THE NIGHT WE WON THE BUICK
Dear student,
The narrator's family was the only ne in town that did not own a car. they had to their shopping trips in a two-wheeled cart drawn by a horse. The narrator felt rather self-conscious. That is why, he was overjoyed when his father's name was announced as the winner of a Buick in a raffle at a fair. he enjoyed the gleaming exteriors and revelled in the comfortable interiors as his father drove it home from the fair.
Regards
