Describe the nature of the main tributaries of Ganga which comes from peninsular uplands

Some tributaries of the Ganga that originate in the peninsular uplands are the Chambal, Betwa and Son. Some characteristics of these tributaries are

1. They are smaller than the tributaries originating in the Himalayas.
2. They are not perennial rivers. Instead, they have water only during the monsoon season.
3. They flow through as rocky surface and, hence, are fast paced.
