Destitution and starvation can prompt a person to resort to any method for survival .Justify this statement with reference to the story "the rattrap".

The ratrap seller led a miserable life. He made very little money by selling ratraps. He had no place to live in. He lived in drudgery and deprivation. Due to his desperate circumstances, he was forced to beg and steal. When he was given shelter by the old crofter, he stole money from him. He was not a criminal but due to his desperate situation, he had to resort to stealing money from the crofter for survival.
