difference between an incidence ray and refraction ray

The ray of light which strikes a mirror or the interface of a medium to undergo reflection or refraction respectively is called incident ray.

In refraction light travels from one medium to another and changes its path if it is incident on the interface of medium obliquely.This deviated ray is refracted ray.
