DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DUE TO OR OWNING TO

Dear Student,
The difference between the two is very subtle and hence, we have to be very careful while we use these two phrases in the sentence.
Due to stands for "caused by'. Example :She missed her class owing to her illness.
Owing to stands for "because of". Example: Her absence from class was due to her illness.
