Hypotonic solution : In hypotonic condition the solution outside the cells has lower concentration of solutes as compared to the solutions inside the cells. Isotonic solution : In isotonic solution the relative concentration of water molecules and the solute on both sides of cell membrane is same. Hypersonic solution : In hypersonic condition the solution outside the cells has higher solute solute concentration in compared to the fluids inside the cell.
