Difference between physical and physiological dry soil. Urgent.
Dear Student,
Physically dry soil is the soil which is actually dry and has no water or with very less moisture content in it. Most of the Plants cannot absorb this moisture any further from dry soil.
Physiological dry soil is the soil which is not dry and contains water in it. But this soil is considered as dry soil due to its high salty nature and availability of high concentration of sodium and magnesium chlorides. Due to these properties, most of the plants cannot grow in physiological soil except halophytic or xerophytic plants which grows very well in this type of soil.
