difference between principle of treatment and principle of prevention

Treatment is used when disease has occurred whereas prevention is a list of methods that are used before any disease occur.
Treatment is done to cure the disease or to eliminate the disease by using medications or other scientific methods whereas prevention helps a person to remain safe from any kind of disease.
