Difference between sweat and sebum

When body temperature rises on a hot summer day, the sweat gland starts its secretion, known as sweat. Sweat contains water when this water evaporates due to high temperature it helps to cool our body.
Sebum is an oily secretion of the sebaceous glands which acts as moisturiser.
