Monocot root-
1. Periycle produces only lateral roots
2. Number of Xylem and Phloem Numerous.
3. No secondary growth
Dicot root-
Periycle gives rise to lateral roots
Number of Xylem and phloem groups limited
Secondary growth occurs

Docot stem-
Single layered epidermis with thick cuticle
Multicellular epidermal hairs may or may not be present
Different tissues are arranged in concentric fashsion.

Monocot stem-
Single layered epidermis with thick cuticle
Epidermal hair absent
Concentric arrangement is absent

pls give clarity in ur question r u talking about fibrous and tap root systems
