differentiate between Geitonogamy and xenogamy in plants. which one will lead to inbreeding depression?

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Geitonogamy is the transfer of pollen from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower in the same plant. Genetically, it is similar to autogamy, since the pollen grains come from the same plant. But it requires pollinating agents that help to transfer the pollen from another flower on the same plant. It is self-pollination.

Xenogamy is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of a different plant. This is the only type of pollination which during pollination brings genetically different types of pollen grains to the stigma. It is also known as allogamy. It is cross-pollination.

Between these two, it is Geitonogamy which leads to inbreeding depression because it involves fertilisation of ova by pollen grains of the same plant.  Xenogamy does not lead to inbreeding depression.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
