Differentiate between micro-organisms and macro- organisms.......

Dear Student,

The microorganism can be unicellular or multicellular, it is a complete organism in itself whereas cells are the structural and functional unit of life and they make up the whole organism.
A microorganism is a tiny organism that can only be seen through a microscope. Example: bacteria, virus, protozoa, algae and fungi.
Macroorganisms can be seen with naked eyes. Some macro organisms such as earthworms are decomposers. They consume the soil and break down the dead organisms present in it and their wastes help in increasing soil fertility.
