Differentiate between natural fibre and synthetic fibre

Dear student
1) Natural fibres are derived from plants and animals whereas synthetic fibres are cheically made in labs and factories.
2) Natural fibres are generally water absorbing whereas synthetic ones let water slide over and thus, dry quickly.
3) It's almost difficult to change structure of natural fibres whereas structure of synthetic fibres could be altered easily.
4) Natural fibres give a hair or paper burn smell after a flame test whereas synthetic ones give a chemical smell.
5) Natural fibres are less durable than synthetic fibres.
6) Natural fibres are more comfortable to wear than synthetic ones.
7) Examples of natural fibre are- cotton, wool and examples of synthetic fibre are- nylon, acrylic etc.
Hope this helps!
