Differentiate between permanent and temporary settlements in points.

Please refer the following points:

a. Settlement refers to a particular place where people build their houses and live. It denotes a community or a group of people residing at a particular place.
b. Settlement can be either permanent or temporary.
c. The temporary settlement is a place in which people live for a short time whereas permanent settlements are those where people reside permanently, where they build their homes.
d.  A large number of  factors have contributed to human settlement, like evolution of society, development of agriculture and advent of farming
e. Temporary settlements can be in the form of tents, kuchha houses, whereas permanent settlements includes pucca houses made of concrete , bricks etc
