a. Revolutionary nationalists such as Bhagat Singh and his comrades wanted to fight colonial rule and the rich exploiting classes through a revolution of workers and peasants.
b. They believed in the policy of violence in order to attains their objectives.
c. They founded the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) in 1928 in Delhi.
d. They assassinated Saunders, a police officer who had led a lathi charge that caused the death of Lala Lajpat Rai.
e. They also threw a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly on 8 April 1929 to vent their voice to the British and shouted slogans of Inquilab Zindabaad.
f. They instilled a great sense of confidence in the people of the country and made self sacrifice as their goal for the freedom of the country.
