Distinguish between rainforest and monsoon forest

 RAIN FOREST  MONSOON FOREST
 These forests are also known as Tropical Evergreen Forests.  These forests are also known as Tropical Deciduous Forests.
 These are generally found in the regions near the equator and close to the tropics.  These are found in large part of India, Northern Australia and in Central America.
 As there is no particular dry season, trees here do not shed their leaves altogether.  Here, Trees do shed their leaves in dry season to conserve water.
 Hardwood trees like rosewood, ebony, mahogany are common here.  Harwood  trees  found in these forests are sal, teak, neem and shisham.
