Difference between temperate evergreen and temperate deciduous forests are

1. Temperate evergreen forests are found in the temperate latitudes of North America, Asia, Africa, South America, Scandinavia and Australia where is plenty of rainfall. Temperate deciduous forests are also found in colder temperate regions but where rainfall is moderate.

2. Temperate evergreen trees retain their leaves throughout the year. On the other hand, temperate deciduous forests shed their leaves during the dry season.

3. Examples of temperate evergreen trees are pine, cedar and yew. Examples of temperate deciduous forests are oak, maple, beech and elm.
