Do both the strands of DNA have the same biological information?

Dear student,
Both the strand of DNA are complementary to each other carrying different codon sequences. Both strand are read in the 5' to 3' direction but are placed antiparallel. So, the sequence present in both the strand is different due to which during DNA replication of both the strands are carried out.
Example:- 5' ATGCGGTCA 3'
                  3' TACGCCAGT 5'
In the example it is clear that both the strand are complementary and carry different sequences of codon. Therefore, both the strands do not carry same biological information.

No..... Strands of DNA are complementary to each other. This means that each strand has different nucleotides and thus, codes for different amino acids..?
