Do the town planners of today follow the same system that the people of the Indus Valley followed ? Give reasons for your answer.

a.  Indus valley has been regarded as the cradle of civilization in the Indian subcontinent.
b. It flourished around the Indus river basin which provided it for fertile areas for farming.

 c.The civilization had a vast geographical region . 
d. Its important cities like Mohenjadaro, Harrapa and other smaller towns developed along important trade routes and emerged a trade centers.

e. The Indus Valley civilization included the first known urban sanitation systems in the world. Their society included dockyards, granaries, warehouses, brick platforms and protective walls. 
f. Houses had similar access to water and drainage.
g. If we look into the present system of town planning, it is true that planers have a lot to learn from the great indus valley civilization.
h. The civilization is primarily noted for its urban style of planning using 
baked bricks​.
i. The town palnners laernt about the wall orientation, about making walls stronger by laying them in interlocking pattern.
j. Presently, the town planners followed system of  having a well drainage system, water supply system.
k. Town planners also follow the system of having a separate bathing areas, having covered drains.
