Do we have principles of directing in syllabus? I don't find it in synopsis

During this academic year, CBSE has not issued any notification, where it has specifically​ mentioned the exclusion of the above mentioned topic. Though this topic is not explicitly mentioned in the syllabus so prescribed, but this topic is being covered in the NCERT textbook. Thus, it would be wise if you can atleast have a glance at this topic.
