do we use coulombs law while solving question number 5?

do we use coulombs law while solving question number 5? 5. If move a magnetic needle away from a straight wire carrying current then deflection the needle (A) increases (C) first increases & then decreases 1—-1B) decreases (D) none

Dear Student
As we go away from the current carrying conductor the magnetic force decreases As the magnetic force is BIl and magnetic field is inversely propotional to the distance so the deflection in the needle decreases.
