does thymosin stops the attainment of sexual maturity????

Thymosin is the hormone secreted by thymus gland. Thymosin released in the blood stream has a stimulating effect  on the entire immune system. It promotes proliferation and maturation of T lymphocytes. If a person, by mistake got severe dose of radiation's that affected his immune system badly, in such condition thymosin could be life saver by stimulating  spleen & other organs to get back into production.

Thymosin production  decreases with advancing age & entirely ceases upto 50 yrs.
