Instead, my mother prepared a sumptuous chocolate cake for celebrating my success. The cake tasted like heaven. It was a memorable day indeed.
2. My father was promoted to the post of a senior engineer during the lockdown. His promotion had been due for the last few years, however, due to administrative reasons, he had been unable to get his promotion. But that changed during the lockdown. We organised a puja to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna as we could not go to a temple outside. My mother made many traditional dishes on the occasion.
