The steps of construction are :
1. Take BC = 6cm as base.
2. Take rough measurement of 4cm and 5cm at a side of the page. Now measure 4cm from compass, place the needle at B and cut an arc.
3. Similarly do with 5cm by placing compass at C.
4. The two arcs intersect each other at a point. Name it as A.
Hence triangle ABC has been formed with AB=4cm, BC=6cm and AC=5cm.
