Draw and describe the various micro organisms (corona virus),disease caused by them,it's symptoms and preventive measure
Also describe use ful micro organism and it's
uses

Dear Student

Living organisms which are not visible to the naked eye are known as  micro-organisms .

They can be classified into four major groups depending on their characteristics- Bacteria, fungi, protozoa and algae.

Viruses are also types of microorganisms, but they cannot reproduce on their own and require a host cell to complete their life cycle.

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.

The diseases caused by microorganisms can be classified on various basis. some of them are mentioned below

On the basis of causative agent, diseases may be classified broadly into four types

1. Bacterial diseases. For example Typhoid

2. Viral diseases.  For example Common cold

3. Fungal diseases. For example Ringworm

4. Protozoan diseases. For example Malaria

** Every disease has their own symptoms, you need to mention the disease who symptoms and preventive measures you want to know. (this is a vast topic and covers complete chapter and the structure of very types of organism is different you need to mention the name of organism who details you need to know)

On the basis of whether a disease spreads or not,  there are two types of diseases

1. Infectious diseases. Theses are those diseases which spread from infected person to healthy person. For example cholera.

2. Non infectious diseases; Theses are those type of the disease which do not spread from infected to healthy person. For example  cancer caused by oncoviruses.

Importance of micro-organisms:

1. They are used in winemaking, baking, pickling, and other food making processes.

2. Alcoholic fermentation by yeast is widely used in the preparation of wine and bread. A bacterium Lactobacillus, promotes the formation of curd.

3. Microbes are used to reduce pollution. For example, decomposers such as bacteria and fungi break down dead bodies and excreta to form inorganic compounds, which can be absorbed by plants.

4. They are used to increase the soil fertility by fixing the atmospheric nitrogen with the help of bacterium Rhizobium and some other blue-green algae.

5. Microbes also play an important role in the preparation of medicines. Antibiotics are chemicals produced by micro-organisms to kill bacteria. Streptomycin, for example, is an antibiotic.

6. Certain microbes are also used in the biological treatment of sewage and industrial effluents.
