let x denote the number of students having MATHS+ENGLISH NOT
ECO
and total students = 40
only english = 11-x
only maths = 12-x
only eco = 5
(11 - x) + x + (12 - x) + 2 + 3 + 12 + 5 = 40
=> -x + 45 = 40
=> x = 5
therefore, MATHS+ENGLISH-ECONOMICS = 5
and number of students of ENGLISH+MATHS = x+2 = 7
