Equal volume of ethanol are kept separately in a test tube, in a china dish, in a water glass and in a conical flask. In which container alcohol evaporates faster?why

Diethyl ether evaporates faster than ethyl alcohol because of which factor?why

Statement A: The temperature of the liquid becomes constant once it starts boiling. Statement B: Pressure of air at sea level is 70cm. Which of the two statements is true?why

The melting points of two solids [A] and [B] are 300K and 350K respectively. Which has more interparticles forces? why

1) In china dish the surface area is maximum which is exposed to air , therefore the evaporation will be fastest in it. In test tube it will be slowest

2)Diethyl ether evaporates faster than Ethyl alcohol because in case of Ethyl alcohol intermolecular hydrogen bonding is present. Therefore molecules are held more strongly as compared to that in Diethyl ether.

3)Statement A is true.
Once the liquid starts boiling , it means it has reached the boiling temperature and therefore at this temperature the liquid starts converting to gas . The temperature remains constant until all liquid has been converted to gas.

4)Solid B has more Intermolecular forces as it has higher melting point i.e 350 K which means higher energy is required to break the bonds between atoms in it.
