Everyday while strolling in the park in the evening, I see an old lady feeding pigeons at around 5 pm. She must be around 70 years old, based on her looks. She is short, wheatish and around five feet in height. Her hair has turned gray, proving her old age. She comes daily in white sarees, with no vermillion on her forehead perhaps because she has lost her husband. Since I have always seen her alone, maybe she lives alone. She is at the park everyday without ail to feed the birds maybe because she is glad in their company. At times I have seen her talking to the birds lovingly. She has even named some of them. While talking to the birds she uses a childsish tone just like she would talk to kids. She returns back at 7 pm everyday.
