Pistillate flowers are the flowers which lack male flower parts and have only female reproductive parts. While staminate flowers are the flowers which contain only male reproductive parts. There are various plants which have these flowers. An example of plant producing pistillate and staminate flowers is Marijuana plant. It is a unisexual plant in which male and female flowers are formed on different plants.

Neuter flower refers to those flowers in which both the stamens and pistils are either absent or non functional. For example: Sunflower, it contains neuter flowers along with normal bisexual flowers.
