Experts pls tell answer of q 7
Why atomic radii of Ca is bigger than of Na
Dear student,
Atomic radii of Na is small sine it belongs to the third period whereas Ca belongs to the fourth period. Thus, Na has three shells and Ca has 4 shells. Since Ca has more shells than Na, it has larger radius.
