Explain any three features of providing employment under Right To Work scheme in rural sector ?

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act is a measure that aims to guarantee for unemployed people in the rural areas. The following are considered as the features of the Act:
1. The Act provides legal guarantee of wage employment for 100 days in a financial year to the adults of those rural households who are willing to do unskilled manual labour.
2. Every rural household has the right to register themselves under this programme and job cards would be issued to each and every registered household.
3. This scheme is applicable for all those districts except the ones which have 100 percent urban population.
4. If the registered applicants are not provided employment within a span of 15 days, then they would be compensated by providing a daily unemployment allowance.
