explain how quality of people is more important than quantity of people?

1)  People make and use resources and they are resources themselves with varying quality.
2) The proportion of people working in different activities varies in developed and developing countries. Developing countries tend to have higher proportion of work force in primary activities i.e., for example, in India, about 64% of population is engaged in agriculture.
3) If the skill of the work force is fully utilized then India would naturally become a developed country in the future.
4) Thus, people are considered as most valuable resource of the nation and hence, they should be well educated to provide potential power to the country.

Quality of people is more important than the quantity of people because:

The quality and not qnantity of the population is a resource in itself. If the population is qualified with skills, education , health and other such factors then it will make best use of other resources. In the opposite case, if the population is too quantified, then it will become only a burden on the other existent resources.Hope this helps! :-)
