EXPLAIN, human beings can only be motivated through satisfaction of their needs .

This is relating, Maslow’s Need Hierarchy Theory of Motivation.Well,a human being cannot "only" be motivated by satisfaction of needs,but yes,if his/her needs are satisfied he/she gets motivated.This is simple human behavior common to all.If we need or want to buy a small car and we buy it then we will be motivated to work hard to get a bigger car.So,fulfilling of needs induces hard work.
