Explain plasticity and its examples in detail

​​​​​​​Plasticity:- The inability of a body to regain its original shape and size on the removal of the deforming force is known as plasticity.
Example:- A metal rod that is being bent shows deformation on removing of deforming force is because of  plasticity.

The plasticity of a solid substance is defined as the ability of that solid to undergo deformation in its shape, which is a non-reversible change in the shape of the solid object and can be considered as the response of the object to an external force applied to it.
Example - Plastic wrap can be an example of plasticity.
