Explain regeneration

Regeneration is the process where individual parts of an organism’s body have the capability to develop into a new individual.  This process can be seen in many invertebrates such as Planaria, Hydra, Starfish etc (Lizard has the capability to regenerate its lost tail )

Example- There is no organism named plantasta exist, It must be Planarian- If you cut the parts of Planarian into number of sections then, each part will give rise to a new individual.
