Explain the centre of gravity of a body .

Center of the gravity is the point at which the whole weight of a body may be considered to act, if the body is situated in a uniform gravitational field.

Centre of gravity does not always lie inside the body. For example, the centre of gravity of semi circular arc is not inside the arc.
