Explain the line, 'These aren't raindrops.........ones are fires'?

To a farmer, rain is like wealth because if it does not rain at the proper time, the crop is destroyed. When Lencho saw the rain, he felt happy and compared the raindrops to coins because he knew he would get a good crop of corn after the rainfall. A good crop meant a lot of money.
