Explain the process of breathing in fish in 4 lines.

 Most fish exchange gases using gills on either side of the pharynx. Gills consist of threadlike structures called filaments. Each filament contains a capillary network that provides a large surface area for exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide. Fish exchange gases by pulling oxygen-rich water through their mouths and pumping it over their gills.

 Fish execute  the exchange of gases with the help of gills near their eyes.they consist of fibre like structures which act like filtering units.they contain a capplirary system which helps send the nutrients to the body for assimilation i.e.utilisation.they take in water through the mouth and take it to the gills

Gills in fish help them to use oxygen dissolved in water and thus, helping them in breathing. Gills are well supplied with blood vessels for exchange of gases
