Explain the strategy of Intervention. How does the India & the American Secularism follow it?
Dear student,
The policy of interference in the religious affairs of a community when the fundamental rights or the basic rights of a person is denied due to religious traditions or principles is called the strategy of Intervention.
For example, in India, in order to prevent the upper-caste Hindus from dominating the lower-caste Hindus, untouchability has been abolished and no discrimination is allowed on the basis of caste.
