Explain the structure and function of the brain

brain has three parts namely as fore brain, hind brain and mid brain. the fore brain controls all the voluntary actions of the body and help in giving response to various stimuli. the mid brain helps connecting the spherical parts of brain. hind brain helps in controlling all the involuntary actions like vomiting, blood pressure etc. it also helps in maintaining posture and balance of the body. overall, brain is the main controlling unit of the body.

HUMAN BRAIN - IS DIVIDED INTO 3 PARTS : FORE BRAIN, MID BRAIN, HIND BRAIN.
                      FORE BRAIN-
INCLUDES CEREBRUM. CEREBRUM HAS SENSORY AREAS WHERE INFORMATION IS RECEIVED FROM THE RECEPTORS. SIMILARLY, CEREBRUM HAS MOTOR NERVES FROM WHERE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SENT TO THE VARIOUS JOBS.
                        MID BRAIN
CONTROLS THE REFLEX MOVEMENT OF HEAD, NECK AND TRUNK IN RESPONSE TO VISUAL AND AUDITORY STIMULI. IT IS THE SMALL PORTION OF THE BRAIN THAT CONNECTS CEREBRUM WITH THE OTHER PARTS OF THE BRAIN AND SPINAl CORD.
                          HIND BRAIN
  1. CEREBELLUM- CONTROLS THE COORDINATION OF BODY MOVEMENTS AND POSTURE.
2. PONS- TAKE PART IN REGULATING RESPIRATION.
3. MEDULLA- ALL THE INVOLUNTARY ACTION INCLUDING BLOOD PRESSURE, SALIVATION AND VOMITING ARE CONTROLLED BY THE MEDULLA IN THE HIND BRAIN.
