Explain the working of skeleton muscles of forearn and upper upper arm

Dear student

Please refer the solution below for the said query

The muscles of upper arm and forearm both work in coordination to help in the movement of the arm.
The main muscles present in the upper arm are triceps and biceps and in forearm are pronator teres, quadratus and brachioradialis.

The biceps bend the forearm and together with supinator muscle of forearm rotate the forearm in such a way that palm faces upward.

The triceps helps in extending the forearm. Both biceps and triceps work in coordination to bend the arm.

Brachioradialis muscle of the forearm helps in bending of the forearm. The pronator teres and quadratus regulate the rotation of the forearm in such a way that palm faces downward.

Hope this information clears your doubt about the topic.
