explain -there is no oxygen evolution in bacterial photosynthesis

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

There is no evolution of oxygen in bacterial photosynthesis. It is known as anoxygenic photosynthesis.
It is the type of photosynthesis where ATPs are synthesised by using sunlight or chemical energy without the production of oxygen. Here water is not used along with carbon dioxide as raw materials. Instead some other compounds are used like hydrogen sulphide which is why there is no oxygen evolution.
