factorize : x²+x/4-1/8

equation x² + x/4 - 1/8 = 0

firstly we will take LCM of  4,8 nd LCM is 8

 x² + ( 2x - 1)/8 = 0

 8x² + 2x - 1 = 0

now we make factore of 8 

 8x² + ( 4- 2 )x - 1 = 0

 8x² + 4x - 2x - 1 = 0

 we will take common 

 4x( 2x + 1 ) -1 ( 2x + 1 ) = 0

 ( 4x - 1 ) ( 2x + 1 ) = 0

 x = 1/4 , -1/2

 so we will take positive value x = 1/4
