Let the points where the line intersects the axes be (x,0) and (0,y)

According to the question

$- 5 = \frac{x + 0}{1 + 2}$

x = -15

Similarly $4 = \frac{y + 0}{1 + 2}$

y = 12

So the intercepts of the line are (-15,0) and (0,12)

We can obtain the equation of the line by using two point form of equation of line

We get 4x - 5y + 60 = 0
