Find the points where the graph of the equation 3x+4y=12 cuts the axis and the y-axis.

To find where the line of the equation cuts X axis, put y=0.
3x + 4y=12
3x + 4* 0 =12
x =12/3=4
It cut x-axis at (4,0)
To find where the line of the equation cuts Y axis, put x=0.
3x + 4y=12
3*0  + 4 y=12
y   =12/4 = 3.
It cut y-axis at (0,3).
