For an ideal mono-atomic gas during any process T = kV, find out the molar heat capacity of the gas during the process. (Assume vibrational degree of freedom to be active.)
(A) 5 2 R                  (B) 3 R                   (C) 7 2 R                   (D) 4 R

Dear student,
In this process T &V is changing i.e. P is constant so we have to find molar heat capacity at constant pressure (Cp).
So , Cp for monoatomic ideal gas is 5R/2.
So the answer is (A)
