form of dna present in prokaryotes and eukaryotes

Dear student,

In prokaryotes, the DNA is present in a loose circular form without histone proteins in the cytoplasm whereas, in eukaryotes, the DNA is present inside the nucleus with histone proteins.
In prokaryotes, the DNA does not have introns but the eukaryotic DNA has introns in it.

Regards.
